The Iranian-American Chamber of Commerce announces the following nominees for the “president” and eight “officers” positions for its 2010 board of directors.

I.A.C.C. encourages additional nominations to be submitted by Tuesday April 27th, 2010. Unless other candidates are nominated, the above unopposed candidates shall be seated for the I.A.C.C. 2010 board of directors.
The current board of directors will resign on April 30th, 2010 and shall be replaced by the new board for the upcoming year beginning May 1, 2010. |

President of architectural firm, Corbel Design, Inc. in Altamonte Springs, FL. Holds an Advanced Architectural Degree from The University of Tennessee and a Masters degree in Business Administration from University of Central Florida. A State Director for the Florida Board of the American Institute of Architects. Presently serving as the Vice President / Secretary of I.A.C.C. |

Miss Ayda Alasvandian |
Ayda Alasvandian has received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science / Pre-Law from the University of Central Florida, and is presently spending her last graduate year at the Levin College of Law in the University of Florida in Gainesville. Ayda has lived in Orlando most of her life and is familiar with the I.A.C.C. as an intern with this organization during Spring of 2007. |

Mrs. Nargges Albekord |
Active in local organizations such as, Iranian Association in Central Florida. Current chair of membership committee of I.A.C.C. Member of other organizations such as, PAAIA, Dorna (the Iranian Artists of Florida), and National Museum of Women in the Arts. Hold a B.S. in computer science from University of Central Florida (UCF), a B.F.A. in painting from UCF, and currently pursuing M.F.A. in Studio Art and The Computer from UCF. |

Mrs. Mariam Davoodian |
Holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Pahlavi University In Shiraz. Director of Operations for Dipasqua Enterprises / Subway for past 16 years. Active member of Iranian Community in central FL. Past Board member of Iranian Association of Central FL. Past Bored member of Iranian Cultural Association. Current member of PAAIA, I.A.C.C. and member of Seminole County Board of Education. Recipient of many awards from Seminole County Board of Education in 1995, 1997, 2001, 2004, 2006, and 2007. |

Mrs. Hamideh Koohi |
A graduate of the University of Jondishapoor in Ahvaz. Master’s degree in Biology from University of Heidelburg, Germany. Assistant professor at the university of Alzahra 1985-1987. Was active in Iranian community in Germany by organizing different social, cultural, and educational events. Currently serving as the Cultural Committee chair of I.A.C.C. |

Currently working as Information technology professional with more than 20 years of data communication networking experience. Since year 2000 Adjunct faculty teaching local area network at Valencia West. President of Iranian Association of Central FL prior merging with I.A.C.C. Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity of Volusia county Chapter, located in Orange City which we currently building a new house that will be complete within 4 weeks. |
